Default Anyone seen or tried one of these?

In the ever-raging debate over stock air intake vs. after market CAI, I found this on the web. Anyone used one of these and will if offer anything? I'm thinking this would be good for S/C motors.

I would say that 99 percent of the heat you get from a blower/turbo application is not coming from abient air around the intake tract though, but from the increased heat the turbo/blower is making while compressing the air.

in that case, you might just trap more heat in, having a negitive effect.

On a n/a car, if your intake gets all that hot, it might work though. I don't seem to remeber my intake getting that hot though. (n/a)

I'm thinking this might work for those of us with metal CAIs, to help prevent heat soak. Hell, I'm not sure it's worth a damn either way. Who knows?
