Default front quarter panel "give"

I just noticed today that on both of my front quarters, there is a lot of give in the panels. If I apply slight pressure in the area where the antenna is (on both the right and left quarter) the panel will move enough to close the gap between the hood and the quarter. This is my first mustang (04 GT BTW) please tell me this is not normal, and I need to see a dealer to have this taken care of under warranty? I really love this car, but this panel issue is driving me insane!

Nah, you're fine dude. The metal is thin there. No visit to the dealer is required.

I just noticed the same exact thing this past weekend on the drivers side when I was washing my car, I was dreading that it was an aftermarket fender, but I went and checked the passenger side and it was the same way....they just dont make em like thay used to...

13K miles on my 04 GT and my fenders do the same thing. Nothing to worry about, just some more Ford Engineering for ya'.
