I have a 97 Gt with the mods in my sig. If i added 4.30s would that be enough to beat an ls1? If not, what else would i need?

a new car.lol. but really nothing else would help you but a supercharger or turbo. nitrous wouldn't even be enough. by the time you put on a big enough shot you would blow your engine. search the site for ls1 topics there is plenty about ls1's.

Ive drove the LS1 before and took them to the track. They are not all that fast. I think with a good stall and 4.10s or 4.30s and maybe a 125 shot of nitrous you will walk on an LS1 but maybe im wrong.

Lets put it this way.. a 125 shot would put you at around 350 flywheel hp... which is exactly what an LS1 car has. The LS1 is the same in the vettes, ta's, 'marro's, etc. All 350 flywheel.

Your going to be close with a 125 shot... if they cant drive or you launch them, you can take them.. if they are good drivers and an equal launch, I still give it to the LS1.

Seriously, on a NPI stang, you need a LOT of work to hang. You only have about 180rwhp stock.. your mods havent really added much. It takes quite a bit to hang with one of those bastards.

s.c/turbo & nitrous. and after your motor blows up from pushing it soo hard tryin to beat a ls1 you can get a built motor with forged internals, pump up the boos nad then you really start eating ls1's
