Default Strange Slugging

It seems like I've come here for a lot of problems lately [:@]

I have a 99 GT, stick shift. I try to get on it every know and then to keep the engine blown out. Yesterday was when I was going to do it, and I noticed when the RPM's starting building up to 4.5 or 5 it just started feeling sluggish, like the RPMs didnt want to rise anymore. It felt like a major power loss. I did this from a stop, started up normal, then hit the pedal to the floor, and it did it in first and second, so I didnt want to try third. I let me brother try it too to make sure it wasn't just me, and he felt the same thing. Any ideas what this could be? I had the oil changed less than a month ago, and a new air filter put in 2-3 months ago. And its a stock Mustang.

I had a cylinder 3 misfire problem a few months back and had the fuel injector and everything replaced on that one, and the rest were supposed to have been cleaned :-\

Is there a specific place I should go to tune it?
