extra leg space mod w/ 99+?

extra leg space mod w/ 99+?
Has anyone with a 99+ Mustang attempted the free mod to get some extra leg room in their cars? I took my passenger seat off today to attempt it, but found that my seat mount rails are built differently than the DIY article mustang, since it was an 94-98 model. I am curious to hear how some may have gotten around this
