Underdrive pulleys

ok i was considering gettng some cause i was told its an easy bolt on. then, i was talking with my friend and he said it reduces voltage by a lot. Is he just being gay( since he does drive a camaro) or is he actually right?

RE: Underdrive pulleys

Get the steeda underdrive pulleys. You will not have any problems with them.

IMO they're highly over rated an yes they do cause problems sometimes... ;)

From what I heard they decrease the power going to minor things like your a/c, heater, etc.... But my main concern is, and I'm sorry for stepping into your question, will they work with a cent. supercharger. Because I heard that they wont with the KB type blowers.

ok, i wasn't really looking to get a supercharger, and it's hard to find 1 for 02 Gts.... it amazed me!

RE: Underdrive pulleys

if your going to supercharge then dont get the underdrive. if you dont have an aftermarket sound system then I guarantee you woulnt have any problems.

underdrive pullies will help a lot...if you do have some homey g after market sound system then get a capacitor to take the load off the battery

As long as you avoid the piggyback (MAC) types, you will be fine. Any company, March or Steeda, that has the SFI approved damper is good. If you need a write up for the install, PM me and I'll send it. I'm working with Code to get it into a sticky.
