Default how much

The Mrs and I were talking the other day and we decided that it's about time to look for a house. That means something must go...and seeing as how the stang costs about twice as much as her Stratus it looks like it might be heading down the road.
It's a 2002 GT, 5speed 3650 trans, leather, 6 disc mach 460, bullitt wheels (the 2 rear have a little rash...hardly noticeable), new cooper zeon tires, SLP LM1 cat-back, drop-in K&N filter, maintained religiously....I have a slip with everything I've done to it including mileage and date. Car has 23,xxx miles. It's driven so it has 2 or 3 rock chips or minor scratches. Red in color w/black stripes on hood.
What would be a good asking price for it if I decide to sell ???

Too bad if you gotta sell it For an idea on price just check the local classified ads or the online autotrader www.autotrader.com & see what others in your area are selling similar cars for.

I bought my 2002 GT 2 months ago and paid 11,500. 62k miles with a Ford ext. warranty.
You shoud be able to get 12,000 at least. Aim high and ask for around 14K

you could probably get 16-17 if not much more if you lived over here

after tax, title, licence, ext. war. and wutnot in chicago my 03GT was about 20,000

-this was about a year and half ago

Don't under value your car. It has low miles and a few good mods. I would say about $13,500.
Sorry you have to sell but family comes first although with a part time 2nd job maybe you can keep the stang.

thanks for the opinions everyone. I asked the sales manager at the dealer I work at and he said try to get 13,500 for it. I also asked him what he would sell it on the lot for and he said probably between 14,500 and 15,000. If it comes down to where I have to sell it I'll probably go right around 14,000. That would give me some room to deal. Also if I have to sell I'm going to try and find a fox body like the one I previously owned. That'll keep me in the mustang family.
