Sounds like you just need to work on you 60'. Get it down to a consistant 2.0 and you should be seeing a 13s easy.
What is your track elevation? What were the conditions?

bah i owned one. If you have trouble getting them into gear you just need another 300 dollar junkyard trans.
But he didn't say that cause of that thuogh. He said that cause its a stupid hollywood ricer movie and he was combiing a few random automotive words he heard.
You shoulda been "clutch fivespeed dragon turbonator shifting"

only reason he said that in the movie is because dsm's have trouble getting into gear so most of the time you have to double clutch them to get in the gear.

RE: 1/4 mile ets
It's prolly the weather and the temp. i ran a 14.2 bone stock. it was 50 some degrees out... but all of my mph have been at least 98 and some up towards 100... even on a 70* day... i always have about a 2.1-2.2 60' too. just seems to me that your mph is a little slow, could be the wheels.

So check it out its like this...sorry I couldnt help it.
I agree with what the guy said earlier about workin on your 60 ft times. You need to find that honey spot where you dont bog out or spin em all day long. Just takes a little practice all cars are different. Could have a lot to do with track conditions too.
off topic but drifiting is badass, I really hope they dont just destroy it like they destoyed the legitimate import seen in the first 2 fast and the furious movies.

I ran low 14's stock, and 13.5's with the mods in my sig. With some good slicks I think that MAYBE I could see low 13's. There's no reason why your car shouldn't at least be in 13's unless you are a horrible driver, and I'm not talking about curves or passing minivans on the interstate. You need to be dropping the clutch with little if not no wheelspin. Keep trying to work on your launch, you'll get there.
