This might be a dumb and obvious queston, but today after summer school[:'(] i went to roll my windows down and only the passenger side went down. I turned the car off and tried it again but no luck. Its a 2004 with 16,xxx miles on it, i dont think the motor could be out already. and ideas?

there could be a shortage or possibly a problem with the ground wire. i have a 96 gt and one night the power windows, locks, and mirrors all went on the drivers side as well as the window on the passenger side. turned out to be a bad connection in the ground wire. im not positive but urs could also be something simple like that. hope it all works out for ya

u should still be under warranty i'd just milk that and have the dealer fix it. sounds like either a switch or motor problem

i had a problem like this the other week. my driver side window wouldn't go up and i was at the drag strip and wantedd to make some runs. you could hear the motor trying to work when pressing down but nothing with up. me and my friend took apart the door, swithced it so the passenger switch was running the driver. same thing. we then switched the leads so down was up and up was down. still wont go up. we then took a cordless battery and 2 wires and put direct power to the motor. the first way we tried it would spark but not go up so we switched the leads and nothing not even a spark. that's when we gave up and just tried to have a good time there. on the ride home i decide to try the window again it works. apparently if fixed itself.

ya i just went in the garage and pressed the window button a few times and it worked!!! i dont get it

take it in to have it looked at. It's an 04' so they should definately replace it.
