Where is the best/easiest place to tap into the O2 signal wire on the car? I have a 98 GT.

I'll try to help you out because it was a major pain for me to try to find the right wire. If yours is the same as mine (I have a 2000 gt) go on the passanger side kick panal, remove it, unplug the 3 wire harness there and the bracket, then take off the main wire plug with 100+ wires on it. Look for a light grey wire with a light blue stripe on it, peel back the black tape if theres any on there it makes it easier and tap into that there and just put it all back.

as said above but alil more details

easy to install

this is all depending on years mines an 01 so this is what i did

remove passenger side kick panel.....there u will see the PCM all the wires connect to it and u have to remove wire loom from the pcm to get in there...

u can connect to any of the front 02 sensor wires coming form the PCM

connect signal wire(usually yellow) to the gry/lt blue wire(#60) on wireloom thats for the right front O2
or
connect signal wire to red/blk(#87) on wireloom and thats for the left front O2
or
run wires all the way out to your O2's in the engine bay(way to much work)

then just find power when key is on and a ground and your set

by the way both wires are next to each other on the connector to the PCM

also i ran power from the traction control wires.....i tried using the defrost button and would get power until the key was all the way forward or something like dat...i forgot

On my 96 I ran the wire under the dash and routed it down the side of the tranny where the shifter is mounted and the wire drops right next to the 02 sensor. Then I just spliced into the signal wire on the 02 sensor and called it a day!

Well if a narrow band is worthless, why do they sell them? I dont understand, what is my narrow showing me then?

The narrow band gives a very rough estimate, it is fine for normal setups. The wideband only costs about 4 times as much, but it is supposed to be dead on.
