Has anyone here ever fixed or repaird a car that had a salvaged title. What is the process and what all do i have to do, so that i can drive it again.

By the way, i have a '89 firebird formula that i got hit in...they totaled it but all it needs is a front clip, and some paint.

Anyone know about this stuff?

Youll have to replace all of the broken stuff, any cracked glass has to be replaced, ALL of the lights have to work. Im sure it varies state to state. So youre best off calling the police station and theyll give you a sheet of paper with the check list that they go through when they recertify (whatever) your car. You might also want to check with your local DMV or sec. of state.

I did a miata that hit a cinder block. Bought it for 400 + 200 for the new K member. sold it for 1400.00.

All I had to do in AZ was put it back together and get it inspected @ motor vehicle.

It was some level three saftey inspection. I was pretty impressed. They put it up on a lift
and went over it pretty well.
