tricks to getting rotors off?
Just as title says I can't get my front rotors off. I used PB Blaster and a dead blow hammer, but no luck.. The rear rotors came off easily. Also, anyone no anyway to get scuff marks off chrome rims? thanks

A friend of mine said some fords have the hub, bearing and rotor are all one piece on the fronts. that you need to take the black cap off and then remove the cotter pin and nut then slide rotor off. Is this true? thanks

Is there a black cap? It should come off real easy, and have tons of wheel grease in it. Make sure you get fresh grease and keep it SUPER clean or you will have problems down the road.

If you don't intend on keeping the rotors, just rock the biotch w/ a big f-cking hammer like it stole something from you.... It will eventually free itself from the hub....
If it doesn't, and you can put the car back together so it's safe to drive, put it back together, take it for a spin, and really heat up the brakes.. Apply hammer... Rotors come off...
Some rotor companies put threaded holes on the hub part of the rotor, so you can put a bolt in, and essentially thread the stuck rotors off the hub.. If your's are stock, they most likely DON'T have these holes...

If y'all got a torch, tickle them around the center where the hub contacts the center of the rotor. The f-series and Expeditions are mother-F#$%@rs as well. Heat and beat will GIT-R-DONE.

My wife's Expedition needs front rotors and I WAS going to do it myself. I think I just changed my mind.
