I have a 01 mustang gt 4.6 bullett and I pressure washed the motor. It used to run like crap after I pressure washed it. Now for a couple of days iv let it sit out in the vegas heat and it runs good. It just has a slight pop when I step on the gas. It sounds like one of the cylenders isent firing all the way. I was going to replace all of the ignition coils but a mechanic at my work told me to let everything dry really good. It just has a slight pop on one of the cylenders when I rev it. I was told it was probably the pcm that got some water in it. What are some things I could do to make the engine run better. I changed the spark plugs and took allot of stuff apart and blew it with air and it still has a slight pop. Could it be the egr vaccum regulator? Could someone let me know what to check?

man, the boots on the coil packs allow crap to get down in to the plug fairly easy so you prolly got a little water down in it
