Default aluminum driveshaft for auto???

ehy guys i want to get an aluminum driveshaft for my car, its a 2000 and its an auto, ive only; seen them for manuals....do they still work, its jsut not advertised, or where can i get one for my auto? thanks

you can get one, just use your stock slip yoke. i was gunna get one too, but since Ford Racing raised the price from $149.99 to $249.99 i decided i can do without one.

yeah what he said......I wouldn't bother unless you have high performance work done, it's a waste of time and money. I would be careful interchanging parts, you could get vibration through your floorboards.

Not necessarily... Although you may not feel any major performance gains, using light weight drivetrain components lessens the wear and tear on associated parts.. Not to mention that using an Aluminum D/S can actually REDUCE driveline vibration because it cuts down on rotational mass...
