Default 2000GT VERT SHOULD I

I am really considering purchasing this 2000 gt vert 5 speed with about 80k miles. good price and even better condition. The car had to be garaged and well taken care of due to the like new(literally) paint top and seats, the headlight lens' are evern crystal clear. Carfax clean and not one single modification. One question though. In a performance thought how slower are convertables than coupes stock for stock? My plans would only be 3.90/4.10, 100 shot zex, o/r x, & cat-back. The only other car I found was a 98 cobra around the same on miles, but hard top not in as good of condition, mods would be the same, but I perfer the vert and new body. What would you guys do?

I would go with the convertible and get a Saleen roll bar... looks bad ***, and I would ditch the Zex and go with the FULL EXHAUST setup...

yeah I am really thinking of ditching the zex. I already have to get a styling bar since it's a vert. I think I am going to go with a cobra r hood and front bumber instead of the nitrous and maybe a speedster cover.
