I only have 40k on my 00 and D3mon has his tc button in the shifter bezel.

DJ, I bought it w/ 11.4K 4 months ago, so I'm gonna wear it out, but the dude that had it left it in the garage.

if you don't have a button, you don't have traction control... whomever said that all mustangs had them was wrong... in 1999, it was optional, in 2001, 2002, and probably later (I didn't check) TCS was on the v6 premium and standard on the v8... it retards timing, cuts fuel flow, and applys brakes IN THAT ORDER. i don't know about the other years

how do you not have a traction control button?? its the middle button next to the foglight + rear defroster it says TRAC OFF and it turns orange. but yes the predator can turn it off.
Yours lights up orange???? Mine doesnt....wtf...

Good info. This answers why the tuner and 4.10's didn't increase my 1/4 mile time on street tires. Now how to get traction with the TC turned off as my automatic shifts into second as the rear tires spin to 6000rpm's in the first 20 feet. What are you guys who run good traction on the street doing to obtain it? Thanks
