Default RE: U-Joints

See, my U-joints were bad, and just vibrating, and when we took them out, the end caps looked fine, all the needle bearings were in place, and the only way we could tell they were bad was by looking at the spindles and seeing heat discoloring, and there wasn't any noticeable grease in them.. Factory U-joints don't come w/ a grease fitting... The old ones didn't make any noise, and moved fairly easily..

The second time, I tried doing them myself, and had never done them before.. Apparently on the front one, I hadn't set 2 of the caps on straight, and they went on crooked... That made it vibrate and whir, and shimmy real bad.. To the point my output shaft seal came out, as I mentioned on another thread.... After a swap, everything's all set..

I have the same problem right now and am saving up to have 410 put in with a rebuild kit, should I do the U-joints too?
