so, does (a previous comment) mean that getting 18s or 19s means I have to adjust my speedo? and I would do this through a tuner? or is there a cheaper method? I wasn't aware of this..

also, is putting 18s on the front nad 19s on the back feasable? that sounds interesting, and possibly look good.. and would it be deep dish in the back only, or all around? wouldn't it loook weird if only the back ones were deep dish?

just curious, since i've been contemplating getting new wheels as well.

Mr. Rash!
There are some good 18" tires that are very reasonably priced. Look at the General EXCLAIM UHPs. I think a 245x40/18 is a little over $100 at TIRERACK. The consumer ratings have had that tire at the top of the list. I'm not sure if they have the sizes you may be interested in. I've put off my wheels and tires decision until next year, but that tire will definitely be considered.

I think a wheel that is predominantly black with some chrome would look great on your car. I don't think totally black is right.

FYI 245 40 18 only on 18x7 or something smaller, other wise if you try to place this tire on a 18x8 or 9, it will look.....hummm how can i put this... a little mexican.... you need at least 265 or bigger.......

Rash,
Mustangtuning.com has the 18" black/chrome bullet wheel on sale in June for $135.

http://www.mustangtuning.com/de.html

That might be the aggressive look you are after.

18x9 and 19x10 are what the c6 vettes have and the porsche 911 turbo. both great looking cars with great looking rakes.
