technically that is impossible. The carbed 5.0s in those cars came with a 5spd. The only automatic offered in the gt350s was in the fuel injected 5.0. My guess is it isn't a carbed engine, or it had a tranny swap.

pull the air cleaner, you will see a HUGE throttle body with a pair of injectors...the rear end is a 7.5, weak as hell, and the AOD is nothing to write home about in stock form. If you really want a huffer, CONVERT IT TO A CARB FIRST! This car does have an electric fuel pump.
If it was my car, I would convert it to a later EFI style system and mod it like you would a later FOX, and get an 8.8" rear end

Personally, I would restore it to prime condition. These cars are VERY rare, since they only made 1 official anniversary gt350. They made a few more, but they weren't officially announced by ford, so these cars are rare. Only a little over 6000 were ever produced. You should keep it for a few more years, and then I think that it will be worth quite a bit. Some of these cars are selling for almost 10gs in good condition as is today.

It may be rare when you take into consideration how many of these are wrecked or not working. These cars are old. 22years old to be exact. It would be rather amazing to find a good one with low mileage. Imagine how much they will be worth in around another 10-15years?
Old camaros weren't rare, but they still sell for 40k.

trust me, I know, but it still is a case that unless the collectors and enthusiests actually start to give a real damn about the FOXes, there will only be a handful left in 10-15 years. Look at the Mustang II...
