Default Nitto D/Rs + Rain= ?

I currently have a set of 555R D/Rs on the back of my stang, and I was freaking out when I had to drive home from work today in the rain. However, im not seeing all of the problems everyone seems to talk about with D/Rs and rain. The only time I had any problems at all was a tiny amount of hydroplaneing when water was acutally flowing down the road.

I havent driven on the highway at more than 60 MPH yet in rain though. Is this supposed to be a problem with sliding sideways off a curve, or what? Strait line wet traction acutally seems improved from the tires I had on before (fairly worn out BFGs)

Default RE: Nitto D/Rs + Rain= ?

I have never had trouble with my Nitto DRs in the rain unless I was running up in the 4000 rpms which I didn't except to test them in the rain haha
