Default Looking for Shorty Antenna.

My friend is taking me to a place to go look at some accesories. Ive been really lookin into a shorty antenna. I would like to know will it make my reception worse than a stock anteena. What are some good brands. How much do shorty antennas usually cost and last of all, are they easy to install yourslef? Thanx guys[sm=thanx.gif]

actually i got mine and my reception hasn't changed at all.......maybe it's where i live cause i got the 8 inch antenna and my reception is fine

My reception sucks....and yes, installation is easy. Can you unscrew ur stocker and screw the shorty one in?[8D]

No reception problems here, and I'm in a "rural" area.
I went with the 14" version from MustangTuning.com though - matches the height of the top of the car.

satellite radio dude, ITS THE MODERN ERA jokes, I dont have it dont, but friends of mine do and it still works well, no reception prollems

mine is an 8" and reception is worse. I can still get most of the channels I listened too, just a little grainier. I don't really care, I dont listen to the radio anyways.

I have a steeda one and My reception is fine most of the time. I live in south florida so I get good signal, but sometimes when i drive to boca the radio stations from miami will start to get a little static.
