Default 4.10s + flowmasters...smart idea?

hey guys, i really want 4.10s but i looked up on the gear calc and it says i would be turning 2500 rpms at 80mph! i know that doesnt seem like a big increase but right around that area is when my flows decide to start screaming and the interior noise is too much for a 4 hr drive back to college with. for those of you with flows and 4.10s...... is it really as bad as i think its going to be?

Does it drone now at 2500?

If it drones at 2500 now it will drone at 2500 with 4.10s.

Get the 4.10s put in, and if it bothers you look into magnaflows or some other type of non baffled muffler. I don't even notice my exhaust at crusing speed most of the time.

It's not really noticeable, just turn up the radio.

I have flows with 4.10`s and the drone really isn`t` that bad. It doesn`t bother me at all. If your still running your stock midpipe it shouldnt be bad at all.

If you don't have a O/R midpipe you will be fine. I have O/R X and flows and 4.10's and I still don't mind the exhaust noise. I love that sound!

Ehh if the sound gets too loud, then slow down to 70ish or whatever. It may add a couple minutes to your trip, but you can save some gas
