Default spark adv question

I heard that if you increase your spark adv you have to replace your plugs sooner. Is that right?

Default RE: spark adv question

i dont think so, most high end cars that have to use supreme gas have higher timing, and they all change the plugs at the same time. the plug is giving off the same spark its just waiting a little longer to do it
