I have 40's with a MAC o/r H. Let me tell ya, I could not be anymore pleased at all. It sounds exactly what I wanted it to. The H pipe is really what wakes the flows up. I havent even had it on for a week, and I have gooten countless compliments. People scream compliments even when I'm driving down the street. (they role down the window.) It really makes me proud to own a stang. It sounds pretty tame and grumbly at cruising speeds, but as soon as you hit it, man you will cream your knickers. But anyways, I guarantee you that this etup will give you the loud, agressive, pure american muscle sound that you are lloking for. And you will save a pretty penny too on this setup and you can spend the extra cash on other mods.

I've got the Mac H pipe and the flows..and I'll tell you everyone tells me how mean my car sounds. I would highly recommend flowmaster with Mac H for pure sound and minumum rasp.

trust me, after 20 mins of loud exhaust you'll get tired of it :/ i personally have the bassani catback and would vouch for the "sleeper" mode that it's in when cruising around town. when u hit WOT you'll be like WTF? the deep roaring v8 really comes through from out of nowhere... and thats what i like about the bassani =) if u want great loud enough quality sound, push the pedal to the limits... if ur just in traffic, my stang sounds like a "sleeping beauty".
Can you post a sound clip of your car???
I have lm2 and i do the same cruising under 2k rpms is ok when i hit the gas is loud as hell, i really recomend lm2 there are loud but not that much for my vert
