YAAAAHHHHHHOOOOOOOO! I got one, I got one!!!! 2003 Mustang GT, I'll post some pics soon enough.

Being a new Mustang owner (something I've waited 14 years to be) and a newbie to this forum, I would like to begin and thank you all from the very beginning. I will ask some questions you all have been asked numerous times from other new owners like me and I appreciate the patience you all will show soon enough from newbie owners like me when I ask questions like:

Now that I have one, I've driven it, I love it, I loved the HP and torque and now IT'S NOT ENOUGH AND I NEED MORE!!!!!!

What next? Its a daily driver, mostly interstate and I won't likely see the high side of the speedometer and I'm looking for faster acceleration up to 90 MPH. Not interested in top speed. From looking in the forums it seems like my first upgrade would be a tuner, then cold air kit, then exhaust.

Am I on the right track? Any suggestions on tuners for more acceleration or is there another upgrade I'm missing that I ought to look at first? My budget for the first upgrade will be $200-$400.

4.10 Gears. Then work with a Intake and Catback. Then move on to TB/Plenum and a Tuner.

4:10 gears/install should be your first Mod.... trust me, trust every single person that says the first thing you should do is 4:10 gears... its soo worth it.

i just bought a 98 gt convert last night, and well i tuned it up changed the oil, now its time to mod

I never thought about the gears. Below is a link where you can compare two transmissions. Anyone know what transmission came stock on a 2003 Mustang GT, manual?

an 01-04 has a T-3650 and 01 and under has a T-45 i beleive.

Anyone else have a 2003 5 speed GT? What speed does your second gear max out at?

Like 60 I think.... Dunno, never paid attention....

But seeing this almost brings a tear to my eye.... Reminds me of when I picked up my first stang.... *sniff* *sniff*

Its an expensive hobby. Do not overwhelm yourself in it. HP = time&money. I've lost many of girlfriends because of my GT. She has made me choose between a dinner out at the PUB with my girl, or gas for her. Its crazy man!!!!! But welcome to the family!!!
