Default Just got a new Mustang

hey guys i just bought a 98 mustang gt recently and... theres something done to it that makes it keep up with a modded 85 vette and a 95 z28 camaro with ported heads a cam and headers..... i bought this car from a suzuki dealership and they told me that an old lady had it before me but im startin to think they bull ****ted me lol. but if anyone has any ideas please tell me cuz i really dont wanna go out and buy something for it that it already has. thanks

i believe its an lt1 or a l98 or something but i know its not ls1 cuz my buddy has a ls1 ss camaro 99 and he walks away from me

If you kept up with a LT1 with heads/cam and boltons you have major work done. I think the guy you raced was bull****ting ya, cause you would know if that much work was done. Would either have some sort of FI under the hood, or a completely built engine with a rowdy cam (and that might not even put a LT1 like that away).

Take a engine pic and post it on here.

actually the vette and z28 camaro r my two best friends... i helped them work on their cars and i know that they have mods... and my engine is completely stock.. im not a dumbass its obvious that there is nothing external done to it so im thinking maybe its chipped or something internal is done... but why would they go to the trouble of going internal without making the external better?

There is absolutly no chance a stock engine'd 95 GT will keep up with a heads/cam/exhaust LT1 car.


Keeping up would require major work or some sort of FI. No chip etc is gonna get it done.

Like I said, I think somebody is bull****ing you.
