CHECK YOU BELT! If you routed it incorrectly, it may be rubbing a bolt. I did that and I'm the moron who wrote the install sticky for MF! Seriously, it would have to be a belt. That is the only thing you can really mess up. Check it now before you drive it.

go to autozone and get the pulley removal tool, not the gear puller that looks like a claw, it would have been much easier if i had done that first. and make sure you write down your belt routing, if you do those 2 thing it prolly will only take 2 hours MAX!

What he said. The more comfortable you are with the car, the faster it is. I did MAC piggies the first time around. That was about 2 hours or so. When I put the Steedas on, I was done in about 50 minutes. Good luck. I think you'll enjoy it. If you have an auto crafts on post, use that. Typically, they run about $5/hr for bay time.

If you are using air tools, it shouldn't take more than 90 minutes the first time. The second time you do it would probably be less than an hour.

My Steeda's never made any kind of a noise. Can't help with that part of the question. My guess would be the belt also, as previously stated.
