Default Passing inspection with no cats

Hey guys. I am probably going to soon get an offroad xpipe. I was wondering if it was easy for you guys to pass inspection. I heard now it's hooked up into the computer instead of the tail pipes or something. I have a mechanic who can probably pass me but any advice would be appreciated. Also is the offroad pipes w/o cats wayy too loud and does it increase mpg w/o cats?

If they have any sort of visual you will fail. Lets just say I pay a little extra to get my inspection done every few years.

no but seriously man mils are really so your cars compy thinks it has all the correct emmisions control stuff when it doesnt so your car wont run like ****. any mechanic with eyes and a sense of smell will be able to tell you nixed the cats. Now you have 4 choices:

1. Find a friend who's a mechanic
2. Bribe a mechanic
3. Switch to your catted midpipe for inspections
4. You still could get your wife/ hot gf to flash him....I'd go with that one....post pics

get a chip put in. it tells the diagnostics computer that you still have all your cats on. just be careful pulling in, keep the rpms low, pull in in 2nd gear. they can fail you for excess noise.

If it's visual and computer, then mils and some sheet metal around it or a set of large cats with a tube through them welded on would probably work. Sniffers don't lie though.

yeah its gonna smell like gas, here in IL there is no visual inspection and a buddie of mine just passed running the prochamber and american thunder catback.

disconnect the negative termainal of the battery a few minties before u go, this clears all the codes.
