Default New Car?

Well I got a 99' Stang Coupe V6 etc... and im thinking bout trading it in for a GT sometime and im not sure wat kind to get i dont reall need to go over $13k any ideas around 97-01 model?

well a GT is a GT. What more do you need to know? Make sure you think of insurnce before you jump into a real sports car though.

Or buy a 96-98 that's cheaper in both cost and insurance and use the leftover money to do a PI headswap..then you'll have more hp than a stock 99+ b/c of the upped compression ratio it creates.

has anyone seen the new article about some one porting the old heads non pi to up to the standars of a pi , they are porting the heads and puttting pi intakes on them with an adapter , i forget who , just a thought for you also ,

Then you'll have a motor that won't mix well with any sort of boost.

I'd say go with as '99-'02 GT. Should be able to get a good one for that kind of cash with low miles.

Does that mean the 96-98 is better for boost b/c of the lower compression ratio?

I got my GT for about 13k and it only had 17k miles on it so i know you can find one if you look around.
