Default Clutch Wear and Tear

I was wondering.. if your clutch feels alot lighter, and feels like its starting to grab alot quicker than usual, is that a sign of a worn down clutch? It hasnt been replaced since i got the car about 14 months ago.

Its feeling lighter and gripping quicker? Thats the oppisite of clutch wear. Usually a worn clutch will feel mooshy and wont grip really well. It may also be difficult to get the car in 1st and/or reverse. These clutches are also self adjusting. Have you ever adjusted your clutch?

no, never tried adjusting, although sometimes i have experienced trouble getting it into reverse.. it denies me, so i end up having to put it into first, then into reverse for it to slide into Reverse..

Ya a lot of cars you actually need to go into a foward gear to get it into reverse. My car i just go 1-2-1-2 really fast then reverse. How does the clutch grip? Still pretty good?

yeah i guess it does still grab pretty good, i just began to realize over the past week, it became much lighter, and grabbed alot earlier. and being its an older clutch i figured maybe it could be worn.

I have to do the same thing with my car. I can't get it into reverse unless I move it forward real quick, and I just replaced my clutch. Whenever your clutch is getting worn, it will take a lot longer for it to catch and if it is real bad, whenever you push the gas hard enough your rpms will raise, but you won't spin the tires.
