+1..3.73 for auto 4.10 for manual..4.10's hurt gas mileage a little but nothing i can tell.i love my 4.10's but being im on the interstate alot i would have gone for 3.73's,also with my x pipe and slp lm1 they scream about 80. just my .02..good luck on choosing.
my top speed on 4.10's is about 145,havent gotten it any higher, dont have 3.73 so could say,but if you search there are so many threads about this exact topic it'll make you sick.

RE: 4.10s VS 3.73s

oh yes fast enough, you see it lowers 5th so low its like an extra gear for climbing, instead of just a plain over drive,i usually shift out of 4th about 80 if im racing around 120 or so then shift to fifth.I really enjoy them but like i said if you do alot of interstate driving head for the 373 especially if you have a loud exhaust,i love the sound of it but after a couple of months it kind of drownes, and gets on my nerves every once in a while

Honestly whenever I get to where I can drive my car the powers that be decide to go to war and here we go again. last 5 years = 60 months i did 19 months probably stateside so this equals 14000 miles on gt and @ 5000 miles on my 01 lightning

RE: 4.10s VS 3.73s

A buddy of mine suggested 3.93's (or maybe 3.83's?) when I brought up gears. A friend of his drives an 04 GT 5 speed and just bought these gears for his, but hasn't put them in yet. I'm curious as to how they are going to work out. Of course, my car is an auto...:(
