lately ive been driving like normal speeds and all of the sudden the cel comes on... i scan the codes with my hypertech tuner and it comes up with p1000 which is fine and it comes up with p1260 which is like "theft detected"... so i clear the codes and the cel goes off... why does it keep saying theft detected??

Did you try starting it with a key without the chip in it? Or maybe some one else did? If not may be the begining of problems with the anti-theft system. Which are a PITA.

no i only use the key with the chip in it and im the only one with the key.

could the chip in the key your using might have gone bad?? do you have another factory key? if so use that one for a few days after clearing the code and see what happens.
