I'll post the pictures after the ending result. My car goes in the shop on tuesday for some minor repairs and of course the badging. My badges are sitting on my desk right now lol. And yes the previous owners put the cobra stuff on and i got tired of explaining "no it's not a cobra...blah blah." I got some black 4.6 High Performance badges from CJ Pony Parts. They are the only site I found with the black ones. I can't wait.

I hate people that put on Cobra stuff when its not a Cobra..

Be proud of what you have.. Build your motor right and you can wipe a Cobra.. But what ever you do, DON'T be a poser by putting badges that don't belong.. It makes you and your car look stupid.. IMO..

why would you put a cobra badge on a GT? I understand that its your pefrence and thats ok, but how are you going to explain that its not a cobra once you get your *** handed to you by a car that thinks your a cobra?

I say do it if you want to man. I think it's pretty lame but it's not my car. You paid the money for it.

Half of you guys can't really say much at all. You talk about how much you hate cobra emblems on GT's but whenever Code signs on, you're swinging from his nut hairs. Either you like it or you don't.

i did this swap to, i had an 03 GT that i put a 01 cobra front and rear bumper on a cervinis stalker hood, 01 cobra tail lights 03 cobra seats in, it looked good and no one could tell, unless you looked at the speedo, stering wheel or the solid axle, just get a cobra thats what i did i should have saved all the money i put into the gt and the cobra would almost be paid off

I've noticed this too... I don't know Code so I have nothing to say about him but it sure does seem like people do alot of swinging when he posts threads.. You'd think their arms get tired at some point but the swinging continues.. [sm=hail.gif]

So basically you're replacing all the crap to make it look like a cobra except the important thing... you're leaving it a crappy sohc 16v motor.

Shame on you. To non-car people no one will notice or care. To car people, people will know its not a real cobra and think you're an idiot. No real advantages.
