I have a 99 GT vert with 88k on it. I just bought it about 3 weeks or so back. I keep getting a code 1633 KAM voltage too low. I first noticed something was funny when the trip meter kept reseting to 0.0 if I shut the car off for more than a minute or so. Nothing realy major but now it is... I have added an S trim Vortech pullied for 12psi, an aftercooler and pump, lighting mass air and 42# injectors. The car seems to "forget that it has all these things once I shut the car off and has to relearn the fuel trims. Ex. I i just start it up and pull it in gear the idle goes screwy, the car will surge etc. After it runs a minute or so I can put it in park, sit there and idle then just slap it in gear and it will never do it.

What causes this code and how do I fix it?

My computer has been recalibrated for the correct injector and meter as well as the correct fuel trim tables and timing curve to support the blower.

Also if it makes any difference the car is loaded, Mach 460, traction control cruies etc, and everything works as it should....

Sounds like a bad alternator

Well I guess it could be but as per the gauge it appears as thought I am getting plenty of charge from the alternator.

Any other ideas???
