that doesn't seem right it is not like you need over 100 hp to run with the ls1. they have 310 stock and the mustang ahas like 265. i may be wrong on that number but it seems to me that with a s/c or turbo you would blow them away

The real answer is a mustang's a mustang and a maro's a maro I ONLY race stangs now anyway cause me and whoever's drivin the other car more than likely have something in common unlike me and most chevy drivers JMO[sm=icon_guiness.gif]

the camaros have a nice performance engine for their car. the mustangs have the same engine they use in the crown vics, in trucks etc it's nothing special unfortunately...

i havent bought my car yet, but prefer the mustang for looks, availiblity of mods and comfort

those ls1s are so quick tho!

here in southern GA i could buy a convertible GT and a procharger for a similar price to a trans am convertible

PS reason for convertible is that the wife says i can do anything i want to the car as long as its a convert!

yeah the ls1s are quick but they are more expensive to buy, insure and modify.

I got my mustang becaues I've always liked them, looks good and drives good
