Different engine all together. They have a DOHC and different crank. Im not sure what type of tranny it has. And it comes with all kinds of up grades like Brembo Brakes and a 3.73 rearend. A lot of difference between the two.

mach1 is a diff. breed. 3.55 rear end, special mach interior, dohc 4.6 , shaker hood and about 55 hp..

Thats what the dealer told me when I went and looked because it wasnt on the window sticker. He didnt know what he was talking about??? If not I will go back and embarass the hell out of him!

Nope, he didn't know what he was talking about! Mach 1; 32 valve DOHC modified for low-end torque and high-end hp. 3.55 rear gears, special suspension with Tokico struts, spring lower the car one half inch from stock GT. Brembo 13 inch brakes up front and 11.7 inches in rear.

Its all in the driving baby I drove both ..a 00Gt and a 02 Mach1. If it wasnt for ONE bad spot on my credit, (damn Bank) my name here would be 02Mach1_Blk..
