Shredding Serpentine Belt after Procharger
I have a 1996 Saleen with a Procharger recently installed. All of a sudden after adding the supercharger the car shredds the serpentine belt when you get on it. driving normal with no boost their is no problem. The pulleys all look alighned from what I can tell. Any help would be appreciated..

RE: Shredding Serpentine Belt after Procharger
like you said it could be out of alignment, other than that it might be a tensioner pulley going out.
i had this problem Once but haven't had it since
just make sure you but the belt back in the correct order
good luck

It's the charger! I also have a s281 w a procharger. Went threw 2 belts within 300 miles. The shaft that is connected to the pully has a defective part. They replace the spring w a solid aluminum spacer. I just had my done and no more problems.
I am having a problem w my #1 cyl misfire. I have a psc1 kit w fmu kit and inline pump. No injectors. No intake pump. No computer upgrade.
I just made an appointment for a dyno tune w the SCT wireless running system.
Just can't seem to get this thing running perfect. I have only put probably 500 miles now on the charger.
