checked out the car yesterday. the mech. had the engine on the stand with the connecting rods showing. he grapped the rod and moved it from side to side lol. i just got a call from the lady whos been helping me with the whole deal. there gonna drop a new engine in it. so prob another week before i get it back. I asked if i could just get the 3v. the service manager says "what and you pay the diffrence" i laughed and said nevermind.

I would have done it. Did she tell you how much it would have cost you. You are already getting a newer engine just drop the 3V in and get another 45 hp. That would be considered a bolt-on cause the motor is already out. How many other bolt ons besides forced induction are going to get you 45 hp just with installation.
