Default AC Illimination

Q: Has anybody ever had their air conditioner removed from their GT?

Q: If so how much weight did you save?

Q: How much did it cost you, or did you do it yourself?

I don't think it's a matter of weight, more that of one less pulley causing tension. From what I've read, it's an easy one day/one man job.

The A/C delete kit only weighs 4 pounds. I read somewhere a while back that this will save like 30 lbs, but i'm not sure on that one.

ac illimination? u meant ac elimination right? or ac illumination? well anyways after reading your questions, the ac components dont really weight as much... what you can always do is remove the rear seats and do a rear seat delete. that'll save you some weight.

i know that if you move the battery to the trunk and do the a/c delete, it helps out with your weight distribution
