let us know how it goes. While you get your oil chaged, pick up a 50" plasma tv, a mop, shotgun, pair of flip flops, a frozen pizza and your perscription at the same time. Wal-mart, the destruction of small america. [:'(]

I don't see why it would be bad. Unless they use crappy cheap oil. I would check to see which filters they use also.

Technically, these companies (mostly corporations) that offer Oil Changes need to conform to a certain standard, therefore, the actual service shouldn't be questionable, as much as the products they use...

Would I use Wal-Mart for an oil change? Probably in a pinch, but I might...

the dealer charges around $32 for an oil change... wal mart charges what, $20?

I think for $12 more you get peace of mind, better oil, better service..

IMO I like to change my own oil. Heading to Wal-Mart? they sell a big 5 qt. Mobil 1 oil for just 20 bucks, then buy another qt (6 qts all together) then stop buy either kragens/autozone for an oil filter around 10 bucks for a good brand. Oil change takes 10 mins if you dont know what your doing and 5 mins if you do.
