Default Can I fit a 275 on a 10.5 rim?

I was wondering if I could fit a 10.5 rim on my 275's? Will the rims be too big or will they fit?

Have them on mine.

275 40 zr 18 Falken's.

Killer Rubber.

You can't go any wider in a 40, but if you drop to a 35 you can go to 315 or something

You can check out www.tirerack.com for recommended sizes for tires to fit on the rims of your choice. Thats what I'm doing but those deffinetly should fit just fine.

Hes asking if the tires is going to be too small. Obviously he can go bigger

Yes, a 275 will be fine...but a 315 would be a lot more meaty

The least you should go with a 10.5 wheel is a 285. A 275 will look stretched as said above.

Stretched...yeah.

The will also FUNCTION different, which is way more important than how it looks. Of course nobody around here mentions anything but looks.

Expect handling to be worse with improper sizing and matching.
