used ones are ok sometimes... depends on how many miles it has. say a supercharger on ebay has like 75,000 miles on it or something you will probably have to rebuild the thing which will more then likely cost the same or more as a brand new supercharger. if you can find a cheap one with like 5000 or less miles on it, it should be fine.
