Default GSXR or H/C?

well right now I have the money for P&Ped heads and cams, but I was thinking about getting a motorcycle, the bike would have to wait, I do live in CT so bikes are not too good int he winter. WHat are your opinions, I figure that I'd be the only kid with a bike so thatd be tight, and the bike would be faster than the mustang would ever be. Do you think the heads/cams are worth it?>

I'd go with the mustang mods but I am biased as I lost my leg to an idiot cage driver last year.

Thats where you are wrong sir, most bikes including hayabusa's only run mid to high 9's, last time I was at the drag strip I saw a sn-95 that was runnin 6.50's. Hell there was a stock looking, stock chassis 68 chevelle SS that was runnin high 6's low 7's.
Personally, Id say go with the heads and cam, theres A LOT more room for error in a car. If you drive anything like I do, kinda crazy, then I wouldnt get the bike, all I can say is nothin but trouble. Not to mention, all those people in SUV's that dont pay attention to smaller vehicles. Just my .02.

if your scavanging for cash, then you shouldnt buy a bike.... one reason. insurance its awful if your under 25 and it doesnt get much better when your over 25, imo stick with the stang. i know a guy that drives a 5.0 stroked out to a 347 all motor runs 10.6 in the 1/4. i would feel alot safer in that than a bike. theres a reason they make you have a roll cage if you run under certian times... bc going that fast is dangerous as hell

I just got a 2006 Honda CBR 600RR and it's a blast. I have a new look at the mustang now. Instead of dumping all of my money in the thing to make it the faster I can do other things like brake upgrades and style things because if I want speed I can just get on the bike.

the old bike vs car argument. How much dough do you have to put into an sn95 to run 6.50s? and that thing is not a dd. yes cars can be faster than bikes, but99% that are not street worthy. for performance bang for the buck, you cant beat a bike. "only mid to high 9s" for soemthing off the showroom floor with a warranty? how much to you want for 10-12K? Now i will wait for the hundreds of bs'ers who claim they kill bikes all the time, while driving their family across country in their stang. flame away.

Get the bike. I have been riding since I was 16(zx11) and I have always had some type of muscle or sport car. Their is nothing like driving your mustang home and then getting on your bike. I am a salesmanger at a local dealership in MD if you are close I will take care of you.
