Default exaust installation help

i just recently got a bone stock '03 gt and i want to upgrade, i have been shopping for an x-pipe and if you buy one with cats it is twice as expensive. Do i still have o buy one with cats or can my stock ones stay, so i could buy one without cats? (I still need it to street legal)

It depends on your state, I lived in Phoenix and they would hang you on the side of the road if you went catless, but in Georgia and Florida they don't bother me and I have full exhaust. Skip the cats if you can.

nope dont believe so...you hafta buy one or the other.

i mean maybe you could with a lot of custom fab work...but it hardly seems worth the time and effort that it would probably take.

Take a look at my sig. I installed the mid pipe and cat back last wed. $765 shipped at completeexhaust.com. CALL them and tell them you're a member of this forum and you'll get the same price I did.
