Working on a '96 4.6 liter ford. I get no codes, have fuel pressure, fuses good for PCM, PCM relay is working. Which is the common failure, crank sensor, or cam sensor? Or do I need to be looking elsewhere?

were you doing something else to this car & it decided to not start? does it turn over at all, or just dead?

Nope, came in running, next morning no-start, no spark.

spark from coil pak?(whatever it's called)

Yep, pulled plug lead off from each coil pack, no spark from each side.

any wires from the coilpak cut, broken, burnt? test coil pak with a volt meter. doubt if both would go out at the same time, ya know?

just thought, had your battery tested? possibly a dead cell.

Engine cranks fine, no spark each side= signal problem someplace. Crank, cam sensor or PCM.

a mechanic told me if the cam sensor goes out you'd notice your rpm gauge jump around when trying to start/ or when running. other than that i'm fresh out of ideas. sorry dude.
