Didnt they offer you one free tune with the octane level you desire therefor determining your timing advance?

I would think that the timing IS advanced for the 93 tune. However, I'm not certain. Anyway, according to Steeda, 14 degrees advance is all you do on a GT running 93. I run 14 and use 89 without any issues. It's been in the '90s with 100% humidity here and I'm still golden.

Dude, get a mid pipe. You will notice a difference.

I'm trying to do my longtubes and shorty mid-pipe at the same time, but deals on other things keep popping up. I'm buying a nitrous kit today

Oh, in that case, I understand. I was going to go that same route, but I just hated the stock exhaust so much I had to replace it. I think I'll put shorties on it later down the road, as LT's are a pain if any tranny work has to be done. Which NO2 kit are you buying?

id figure the timing would be advanced all the way on a 93 tune. you could always try it. you dont have to worry about too much advance as the tuner cant go high enough to harm your engine as long as you use 93 fuel.

When I used to have my timing adjuster, I had it at 16deg. on 93 octane with no problems. But I took it off.
