Clutch issue?

Clutch issue?
04 Cobra... 18,900 miles.
While moving in 1st gear or any gear for that matter, while shifting into the next gear and quickly popping the clutch, I will hear a loud queek. It is absolutely coming from the front. Is there anything in the clutch assembly that would make this squeek? It is very very similar to the sound of sneakers on a basketball court.
I think it might be the blower belt. My pulley swap might be chewing up the belt, as I've seen a lot of people have problems with it. It is definitely *not* the throwout bearing. It is a QUICK squeek that is very very similar to the sound of sneakers on a basketball court...like I said.
Thanks

RE: Clutch issue?
I agree, I think you are on the right track, belt squeal. Did you change your blower pulley to a smaller dia? That would exacerbate the problem. Come to think of it, I 've also had tensioner problems with my 5.4 pickups, they replaced tensioners under warranty, because when you goose the throttle, the whole tensioner would move (loosen) against the strain and produce the noise you describe.
BTW, looked at a car identical to your's while vacationing in CT, it's beautiful. I was tempted, but, alot of cash. I'm gonna purchase this '70 AAR 'Cuda I found and do a re-pop deal. I think I can make $15K on the car profit, the world has gone Mopar crazy!

RE: Clutch issue?
I think I will just go pick up a new belt.
I hate warranty work, I recently had a little done and from now on I will be doing the work. Ford put up such a fight it was disgusting.
Where abouts in CT were ya? What were they asking for the Cobra?
And you are damn right, Mopar has huge demand!
