Default Escaping the Gates of Hell

Well, as I decided (against my own wishes) to drive to a car show today, I knew there were severe thunderstorms in the area and surrounding counties. As I looked at the radar before I left, I figured let's make a try for it anyway. As I drove down the highway, closer and closer to my destination, hell was approaching me. I continued on as I looked in terror at the skies before me, as 3-4 bolts of lightning striked at once to the left of me, and 3-4 more in front AND to the right of me.

Even seeing a possible cloud formation in the shape of several "possible" funnel clouds, one seemed to stretch towards the left of my view and then vanished. I decided the next plan of action was to get off at the next exit and get the FU#) out of there. As I was driving back home, I could see in my side mirrors the beast breathing down on me, even as he spit his droplets of rain on me, I outrun him and left the massive storm, narrowly escaping the depths of hell itself.

I love shows, but FU#) that, lol Had to get my baby home.

Believe me, it was darker than the pictures show. Check out the pictures and the small videos.

Staring straight into the gates of hell.

Along the ramp crossing the interstate to get the "HELL" out of there.

Hell breathing down on me from behind.

You have an interesting writing style...
Maybe you should consider writing for a career.... but not long posts on the forum though...

I hit storms like last in Wisconsin when driving x-country last summer. What state are you in?

Illinois. Storms can be nasty around here every now and then. It's nice and sunny here now. Still storms around the area, and nasty looking red and dark red on the radar.

man those are some beautful pics. I have a storm coming right now but the clouds don't look as ominous as those.

YA 2day in I was in huntley, illinois. Coming home back 2 rockford from a good 2 hours of paintballing(sarcastic) Got downpoured on hail...the whole 9 yards almost died twice. First time guy blew a stop sign cause he couldnt c it so I barely stopped. Second time my car hydroplanned badly I was sideways with oncoming traffic...then when I got the chance I pulled over and relaxed lol.
