randy... does the way you are set up really NEED to be changed that often, or do you do it just to be safe?

they are specified at 100,000 mile platinum plugs. This, however, is bull. they will last, but they wont be pretty when you pull them out.
I usually say at 50-60,000 is a good time to change the plugs. Buy the OEM motorcraft platinum tipped plugs. You do not have enough mods to justify putting in anything more. I put the OEM plugs in my car, and it loves them, runs exactly like it's supposed to.
With your car, no they are not too difficult. Just be careful and take your time... some of the back ones can be a PITA... sometimes the fuel rail is in the way so it has to come out, and sometimes you can work around it. I've done them on NPI and PI 4.6s and 5.4s before.

RE: How long do plugs last?
oooo you barely drive it, so you go by months for the oil changes that's coo
Do the plugs foul out quickly?
My friend's dad has this old chevy truck with a DECKED OUT inline 6, and he had it putting out so much horsepower that he had to change the oil every 500 miles... and check the plugs too. He has since de-tuned it so it's more stable

The engine runs lean at low rpms an idle and perfect at high rpms... (dyno)... i recently changed the power valve an jetted up the primaries hoping this will solve the problem... we'll see...
