i dunno what exactly causes that backfire sound. my guess is that its just hearing the exhaust from the engine clearer. i've heard it a lot with O/R pipes and exhaust systems without cat backs or something. like i said i've never experienced it myself...then again i've only run catted pipes...

yeah i mean the "crackle" but it is very loud say my colleagues and they say it sounds like "sh**". =( So i have to change the original exhaust and definitly a X-Pipe.

I have an SLP catted X, shorty headers, and flowmaster cat back. Deep at low RPM, yet Nascar sounding as you get into the upper rpm's, I like the power gain above 3K, it comes on like power band on a 2 stroke. I'm sticking with X pipes, even on my old rides. It definitely prevents exhaust confusion at high R's, which BTW, is where a 2V mustang needs help. Anything that will boost the upper R's is a good thing on a 2V.

What do you mean with: preventing exhaust confusion?? Will a H-Pipe damage my exhaust????

H-Pipes, don't damage exhaust, they are installed as stock. But at high RPM's they don't scavenge properly, reducing HP as much as
3-5Hp.

yesss please dont buy it for that 2 hp that you get more. the sound is much more important. its nothing you can feel. i mean you can put in a k&n drop in filter if you really want those 2 extra horses.
